My Dining Companion Chicago (“MDC Chicago”) operates a non-romantic dining companionship service that matches adults for casual meals at public restaurants and cafes in Chicago. By using our website or participating in the service, you agree to these Terms.
MDC Chicago facilitates introductions between adults who want to share a meal and conversation at public dining establishments. We are a companionship service, not a dating service. Matches are human-reviewed. All initial meetings take place at public venues. During the pilot phase, the service is offered at no cost.
MDC Chicago acts as a facilitator of introductions. We are not a party to the meals or interactions that occur between participants.
You must be at least 18 years of age, provide accurate information, and agree to these Terms and our Community Guidelines.
Participants agree to treat others with respect, meet in public places, represent themselves honestly, and respect the non-romantic nature of the service. Prohibited behavior includes harassment, romantic pressure, misrepresentation, solicitation, sharing others’ personal information, discrimination, and attending meetups while impaired.
MDC Chicago is in a pilot phase. The service may change, pause, or discontinue at any time. We cannot guarantee a specific number of matches or frequency.
MDC Chicago reserves the right to remove or suspend any participant who violates these Terms, creates safety concerns, receives reports of inappropriate behavior, or provides false information.
MDC Chicago does not guarantee the safety of interactions, accuracy of participant information, compatibility, or uninterrupted service. Our review process is not a background check and does not certify any participant.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MDC Chicago shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the service or interactions with other participants.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MDC Chicago from any claims arising from your use of the service, interactions with other participants, or violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Disputes shall be resolved in Cook County, Illinois.
